Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Heather, and my work centers on helping individuals and organizations cultivate a culture of well-being. I believe that when we care for ourselves holistically—mind, body, and spirit—we are better equipped to lead balanced, meaningful, and sustainable lives.

I currently serve as the Well-Being Coordinator and Navigator at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where I support students, faculty, residents, and staff in fostering a healthier learning and working environment. My work focuses on whole-person well-being, professional fulfillment, and building systems that support psychological safety and resilience in academic medicine.

I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology and human development & family studies from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a focus on gerontology. I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and a Duke University-trained Integrative Health Coach. I also hold certifications in Mind-Body Medicine, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Yoga—all of which inform my integrative approach to well-being.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve served as an entrepreneur, educator, program director, researcher, and advocate. I currently review coaching education programs for the Institute of Behavior Change and continue to mentor emerging coaches through the Gaja Collective’s Coaching Certification Program. In addition, I consult with the Bureau of Land Management to support wildland firefighter well-being, helping develop and deliver evidence-based training that strengthens resilience, sustainable performance, and whole-person health within the fire workforce.

As a national speaker and consultant, I partner with organizations—including those in healthcare and first-responder communities—to design evidence-informed programs that strengthen resilience, leadership, and sustainable performance.

At my core, I am passionate about helping people reconnect with purpose, clarify their values, and build lives aligned with what matters most. I’m here to share knowledge, create space for growth, and support the kind of well-being that endures—not just professionally, but personally.
